Lol this match had to draw the one song from both sets that I don't like. I'll probably go with Paradise because it does have some aspects that I do like in it, like the vocals, the little vocoder segment at 2:16 and the modulation that immediately follows. Dungeon - Geofront 4 is really cool. Some really neat strings and synths. I do kinda wish it did more compositionally though. There isn't a ton to the loop. Still a good song regardless. Mauriana Region is also really good, particularly in its instrumentation. Love the percussion and the strings especially. Good melody too, which will give this song the edge for me. Bleached Breath is pretty interesting. It's not something I'd really go back to, but I appreciate it for what it does. Keycard #1 has pretty solid instrumentation. Pretty fun song. paradise (stay forever) mauriana region keycard #1 stay forever is absolutely phenomenal. catchy lyrics, oozing with that city pop vibe and that sexy sax solo! this song is quite a staple in my household and no matter how many times i've listened to this - which is a lot as i was around for the supra 2020 contest AND vgmc 15 - i just can't get bored! such a great feel good track. unicorn girl isn't for me, but that ending is pretty cool. definitely enjoyed it more than when it showed up in vgmc lol oh man i just love all the elements in geofront. the creaks of machinery, the punchy percussion. i don't know if i want to dance or fight. holy fuck the violin in mauriana region. holy fuck the percussion. holy fuck what a great song. match 2 is so stupidly stacked. i don't know how to articulate my feelings for bleached breath. it just has a certain dissonance that fucks with my mind (affectionately). man finally an extended version of a song that isn't ridiculously long in length. sorry that was off topic keycard #1 is simple, but subtly hype. it feels like a good fit for a game that requires strategising. less stacked match 3, but still pretty close! ...
