They ended up delivering it over a week late, and when I contacted them to complain that they didn't honour their guarantee they refunded me a pathetic amount of money (like 75 cents or something) as compensation. I don't preorder games anymore. Last game I paid full price for was Pokemon Brilliant Diamond. It had already unlocked in other regions by that point, so I had seen some unscripted gameplay footage and knew what I was buying. On principle, I think preorders are a terrible practice and that buying a game before it's in the hands of the general public is a horrible idea. --- And with that...pow! Once it gets it going the story is basically a decent Star Trek movie. Oh, and it has those A-level graphics (as in not AAA) that make me wonder why they didn't save the cost, make it cartoonish, and funnel the savings into playtesting. Long story short I think it had pretty good potential, but they just didn't have the budget/time to polish it up to something I would call memorable. And only for Switch or I may have gotten the game on PS5 if so. But I don't mind it on switch.
