He was probably immediately released because there was nothing to charge him with. Can't say he was trespassing when the runners of the event were right there and let him up.

Well no, it's still trespassing. But the thing about arresting kids is you pretty much have to release them to the parents as soon as they get to wherever the kid is being held. He probably didn't even get taken out of the building though.

Jason Schreier is a fairly big name in the gaming industry as a journalist, and now actually works for a big name paper. Wouldn't be surprised if you used his credentials to ask for an interview. Something tells me he's not one to shy from attention, and also to deflect from some criticisms people have been levying against him.

He walked up to the stage when the group of directors of elden ring to receive the award. After the directors made their speeches, the kid took over the mic and said i would like to award my orthodox rabbii bill clinton and everyone clapped

They probably just didnt know he was 15 and let him off with a warning and a ban from the building. Even people that rush the field at sporting events dont get arrested.

How the fuck did a 15 year old attend a huge event like the Game Awards by himself? How did he even get into the building? Do you have to pay to be in the audience? Do you need ID to get in? I actually don't know. But I assumed kids would find it very difficult to get in unattended

If you google it, there's some reddit thread from 7 yrs ago with screenshots from a suspended twitter account and users corroborating that he was on LL. But I don't know the history on this, or how it isn't a more widely known thing, if true.

Yea. That's what I am trying to figure out. I doubt its a free open event. You must have to have a ticket to get in. And I doubt the tickets are free.

Lol like the old Pee Wee's Big Adventure gag or that Maeby plot in Arrested Development. Always seemed like a possibility to pull off because the entertainment industry doesn't operate in logic.

I wouldn't doubt that the Game Awards hands out seat filler tickets. They're not selling out that entire place, and there's no way there's enough industry people too fill all those seats. Or maybe there are, but doubt they all register for it or get invited.

Schreier is a POS with a ridiculously fragile ego (remember this is the same guy who tried to play down the Blizzard allegations, or claim Dragons Crown was for pedos, only for the artist Kamitani to send him art of buff dudes instead), but there were a lot of people already wanting to dox the TGA kid and/or anyone who supported him for supposedly being an anti-Semitic Nazi based off of Infowars hearsay.

I'm inclined to believe his stunt at the game awards was pretty deliberate on it's message. He apparently praised infowars in another interview he had with them but also he revealed he purchased the kanye west shoes for his stunt which given what kanye has been saying and his message about Bill Clinton being a Jew doesn't bide well for him.

its not gonna stick. most of the normal people who were calling him a white supremacist or whatever backed off pretty quickly when they saw how old he was so now its just folks nobody listens to for the most part

From what I've seen there's two groups, those that think he was pulling a prank due to supposedly being Jewish, I'm not sure if this is 100% confirmed, and that his appearance in infowars doesn't mean anything because he was only 12 and he was talking about honk kong and Tibet.

On the other hand you have others saying he talked about antisemitic dogwhistles. First because Bill Clinton being a Jewish is a thing among alt-right conspiracy circles and because he was also wearing yeezy shoes which according to the vice article were only purchased shortly before the game awards. Not only that but he appeared twice on infowars while being praised and him also praising infowars.

Hell of a head of hair that kids got.
