Its preferable when theres at least some sort of build up, instead of just being put in there because its expected. Personally, I definitely don't mind them on actual adults, lol (let some of us be honest with ourselves.....we all tried to get a little peak at doctor legs in persona 5, lol). As someone that plays a crapton of jrpgs I just deal with japan's love of'em in that highschool age bracket because vast majority of these characters is going to be from 15 to like 17, rarely 18 at the highest, and I'm assuming the main demographic that gets into stuff like games, anime, and manga is going to be teenagers regardless. When a jrpg actually has a lot of the cast being 18 and over I am legit shocked. Both tales of vesperia and tales of arise had most of their playable cast as adults and its like whoa man.
