they changed how registering works because of the fuckery last time

beta is mostly the same but with bug fixes and such. it sounds like they fixed the rollback concern if im understanding it right

maybe ill get in this time!

so yea this feels really really different from past SFs, I can't even cancel a special to a super, thats...just crazy (at least with Ryu)

the physics and the feel

I can easily get used to it but never has it felt this weird to transition into another SF

also a minor thing but I cannot stream this game very well. The battle lounge LAGS my stream really badly, but yet the matches are A-okay to stream

so if I stream this game I'd have to find matches immediately or risk screwing up the whole thing

its almost not worth it, but luckily I know now, I might have to get the PS4 version

yeah the special > super cancels are different this time. iirc you can cancel ex specials into any super but non ex can only cancel into lvl3

and have you messed with the options? theres some battle hub stuff to turn down number of npcs and stuff which might help

I did get to play for a few hours yesterday and I'm not sure how I'm feeling about the new mechanics yet.

But first impressions are pretty positive! If you're trying to get a handle on the new mechanics I'd suggest trying Guile instead of Ryu. Ryu has so many new moves he doesn't feel as familiar as other games. But Guile still feels like the same Guile you've been playing for 20 years.

It seems like it's going to take a lot of time to start using drive rush effectively. I mean look at this stuff

yeah drive rush is gonna lead to some stuff. it changing your frame data is still kinda wild to me

and the survey is out. doubt any of the suggestions actually matter but i still mentioned some things. more accessibility options, being able to set your own delay, and playable characters not from sf2

yea someone was using it and canceling it to do a dash across the screen and doing overheads from the otherside of the arena using the focus attack thing
