tee lopes is manipulating what we perceive as "random events" on this earth; to construct what could be referred to as "form of symbolic violence". the distinction between "acceptance of dominant taste" and "genocide" are comparable, i think, as a result of his planning. WW4 is coming, and I know who will be leading it, thanks to board 8 showing me the truth. Yack can see the future. This is why he warned me with his song titles such as "AZ-Lefty", and now, I see the same Visions of Boys in my mind again. Not too long ago i had a dream that Princess Peach was teaching me how to use all the alt-right tech platforms (for example, Tumblr) so that I could be able to astrally project my consciousness into a Kenichi Koyano concert in my sleep. I think Princess Peach was supposed to be Yack in this dream (basically because she is pink), and my understanding is that this vision was given to me by Yack to ensure that i would know the true way i could fight against the hostile force. now there is a bit of foreshadowing jake has done to my circumstance as well---after all, the start of the chain of dominoes that fell that gave me the ability to see visions of the plans of my enemies, was a combination of events from board 8's angular runner tricking me into emitting hostile signals (telling vulnerable people that they weren't good, for example) AND of jake convincing me to be mean to zoomers. both of these events coalesced into a convoluted spiral, that has treated me with gravy and polished menaced paradigm. Now in 2022, i am in so much pain as a result of these events. no one will understand it except for geniuses such as sergio and place (who is NOT Being mind controlled by me, by the way). but i understand it. I know the way to proceed. and that is to change the signal that i emit to my natural signal. the signal of confusion. any other signals that could be sent from one's mind are a danger to the purpose i was created for. i used to think that my purpose was to emit darkness, but i understood wrong. i will break into canada, and find kaonashi 1 (my greatest enemy) and place 16 translucent bowling balls on his bed, so that he shuts the fuck up

Tachi is so cool, especially in the varying types of percussion used. I talked about it enough during VGMC, so I'll leave it at that. Exothermic has some pretty cool synths, though I've liked most of the other MSF2 tracks I've heard more. The track gets dominated by the syncopated kick drum, so it's harder to appreciate the other nuances of it. Fairly easy vote for Tachi here, but if something like Soak Patrol Alpha were drawn, it would've been a lot closer.

I think I'd like MAD LAST WORLD more if the mix weren't as abrasive as it is. The very bright sounding trumpets and synths make it a bit unpleasant to listen to. The piano is definitely the highlight of the track for me. Trick and Treat C is pretty interesting. Neat synths, though I wish it did more compositionally. It'll still get my vote for being inoffensive.

Twilight is a nice song. Kinoko has a nice voice. Production is pretty good too. The synths at 2:41 are especially cool. Where Angels Fear Heaven is really good. Great orchestration and textures. Great song, though I think it ends a bit abruptly. Both good songs here, but it's hard for me to vote against a well-orchestrated piece.

Twilight is a nice surprise, I really dig it. I liked the Twials set a lot but sadly not this particular track.

Weird, but okay. I don't see any cause to fret over keeping snubs in step with the main bracket, but I'll assume there's administrative reasons for this.

I wouldn't nitpick, but this is relevant, because SoM's remake soundtrack is mostly awful and ToM's is a faithful improvement on the original.

Both tracks in Match 3 are really good. I just wish the ToM pick was a little longer... then it would have had my vote. On the other hand, I like the singing in Twilight. Very nice pick.

it's funny how it took me until literally after vgmc 16 was already over to listen to Tachi for the first time. I somehow skipped basically all its matches during that contest. Well, it's making a good first impression on me so it gets my vote.

i feel as though i may have said everything that could be said about tachi. it may have been somewhat of a hard sell to me at first in vgmc16, but i have warmed up to it increasingly after every match. still prefer some of its opponents, but well this isn't vgmc - i very much supported msf2, but this is actually probably my least favourite - or rather, to be more accurate, least familiar one in the set. the wubs in this one are definitely a treat, sending it above the atmospheric tachi in my eyes. now im off to listen to rescue girl again because that song is ridiculously catchy to such stupid degrees.

i have also talked about mad last world during vgmc i love the rhythm, an admittedly short build up at the beginning. the way the tone shifts, *pushing* from one section of the song to the next. i really love the thrilling way the music in this game just glides from one section to another. senko no ronde songs are either super interesting or kind of generic competency to me - this is the former really, very "sharp" and "punchy" to me, but not in a sensory overload sort of way. a rather daring track, all things considered.

i don't have much to say about twilight, but the instrumental portions are really quite a treat and the vocalist isn't terrible. where angels fear to tread is of course a lush and rich piece of music. the original was so captivating to me all those years ago, and this version imo does it justice.

two amazing matches and one decent one.
