Saw in the previous topic that Outer Wilds is supposedly bad with a controller... Is this true? Was planning to check out the PS4 version, but if the controller ruins the experience, I might go with PC.

I had no problem with it on conttoller.

Perfectly fine on a controller. Had issues with piloting originally but that was on me

Never played it on PC, absolutely loved it on console. Couldn't really see a mouse and keyboard improving much if at all. It's first-person, but it's not a twitchy game.

Speaking of which, Outer Wilds and Silent Hill 2 are definitely the real #1 and #2 here based on actually getting enough votes for their scores to be impressive. Actually, I'd be cool giving the nod to anything with 10 or more votes, making FFXIV Shadowbringers the #1, Outer Wilds #2, Silent Hill 2 #3, Planescape: Torment #4, and Eternal Darkness the #5.

A full list with the 10 or more votes criteria being met would be cool to see!

What's impressive to me is NieR Automata averaging a 9.25 with 31 votes--one of which was a 7 or 7.5 from my (the game's story disappointed me compare to the original NieR).

I don't think Tales of Symphonia IIs story was that bad; I'd give it like a 6.5/10.

I had always considered pulling the trigger on these. Glad I didn't.

They are really fun with at least one other person. Also, they do get progressively better. I would recommend a discounted bundle.
