I didn't have as much trouble with Poppy and her Steel-types as I thought I would. Now I'm in the middle of fighting Larry, who I can't believe is both a Gym Leader and an Elite Four member in this region. I hope that poor salaryman bastard is at least getting paid well for that overtime work.

Like gen 7 and 8, if I don't need a water type I try to shy away from them. Espathra with psychic, steel, and fairy coverage really made it my mvp for the E4 stuff.

Whenever I fight something and don't know what it is from the name and too lazy to look it up, I send out my Tinkaton to bonk it dead and hope it's not a fire, fighting, or ground pokemon. Hasn't failed yet

Also Rika with glasses tho...even though I thought she was a dude when she first appeared

Be warned, at night the desert ones are a pain to check because they're chrome that reflects the brown floor and canyon walls near them... which looks similar to gold if you are just starting and haven't been staring at them for awhile already.

I swear, this cat just sleeps wherever and whenever she wants.

I beat the Champion, so now I have all three main stories complete. I'm sad that there was no "Welcome to the Hall Of Fame!" victory screen with you and all of your Pokemon together on screen like there was in the past games. Oh well. I'll tackle the final story tomorrow.

On a side note, Nemona is officially my favorite rival and possibly my favorite female character in the whole franchise now. I love how she was basically someone who already cleared the game and was playing on New Game + mode, intentionally sandbagging with weaker Pokemon (and picking the starter weak to yours) just to get more thrill out of battling you. Her energetic personality was fun, and her kindness and advice never felt overbearing like it did with other recent rivals like Hau and Hop. I've seen some fanart and memes depicting her as a yandere, but I don't see it. I just see her as "battle-sexual".

Also was working on a Bombirdier outbreak when I posted. It's literally at the edge of a town, so if I find one I can do that clone trick. But it's such a pain to have to look at their beak/feet. Was hoping that engine one wouldn't be another that's hard to see. lol

Meanwhile team star and their story really sucks reminds me of Kalos, Alola and Galar with how they beat you over the head with their one character traits and keep on doing it and doing it and doing it and you get the drill. Worst team ever, I wanna go back to bastard teams they keep trying to recreate team skull even through what made those fools work was Guzma and how ridiculous they were compared to plasma, rocket, magma, aqua and galactic before them. Yell and Star are knock offs.

I hate that like half the shinies this gen are just "eyes/ single feather/ beak/ lines on their torso are different" or they're just gold now. I mean yeah, Spain and gold, but still. -_-

Would quite like a current gen shiny, but just happy that shiny Ampharos is so incredibly blatant.

It also cool because some chase you, but other run away. You can kind of see how different Pokmon react. Sometimes, they just stare at me. A Psyduck and Marill just stared at me once. And when I move to the side a little, they scooted a little, too

Very early. After the very first Team Star battle

Does anyone know the star level for the upcoming Eevee event? My Pokemon are still pretty low level. I know Charizard is 7 star raid event but I should have some strong Pokemon by then. And I will most likely have a Sylveon by then as well to take him on.

GF needs to go back to the harder/less energetic rivals
I get no joy out of beating people like Hop/Nemona because they seem to actively be stupid and are way too happy to get their ass kicked by you. You could remove all their trainer battles and nothing would change, hell Nemona literally expects you to beat her like 90% of the time lol

It'll probably be 5 star raids so level 75, meaning you'll basically wanna be at level 100 because of all the deadweight out there to match with.
