Great, I just got Joycon drift. Again.

Shiny Rellor. The ball turns gold and it turns a bright gray so it stuck out. But its shiny evo... Nah, won't be evolving it. Luxury ball for it.

I finally started messing around with tinkaton and I feel like she's a little OP. 160 power 100 accuracy move the only drawback is you can't use it two turns in a row? Giga impact straight up makes you skip a whole turn and only for 120 power.

Well sure, until you get other physical attackers (like the fully evolved grass starter) and realize Tinkaton's attack stats are shit. If you use the nature changing herbs it's even more apparent. ;-; I love my hammer baby but they really do suck.

The grass starter (which I already have) has shit typing. One of the worst defensively in the game.

After a marathon session today, I have 2 gyms and 1 star base left to go before I have them all.

My team at the moment:
Lv46 Skeledirge
Lv45 Kilowattrel
Lv44 Cyclizar
Lv44 Barraskewda
Lv44 Pawniard
Lv45 Hypno

Pawniard has been lagging behind the rest of the team in power for a while now, so I just stopped using it and gave it the Lucky Egg so its share of exp would be bigger. I just have to tough it out until 52 when it evolves into Bisharp. Thankfully, the last two gyms are the Psychic and Ice gyms, so that might give it a chance to see some use and gain some levels, but its low unevolved base stats might still be a problem.

Also, I'm still considering swapping Skeledirge out for Gholdengo. I caught a Lv50 Gimmighoul with a pretty good nature and IV's, and I'm less than 200 coins away from being able to evolve it. I still have time to decide.

I enjoy them. I've come to love the Minecraft looking Pokemon, I called mine Steve.

Also I haven't expirience any crazy glitches or anything, it's been pretty smooth save a few graphical glitches here and there but I just experienced this weird ass glitch lmao

Also won that battle by getting really lucky with the evade shouts. She dodged skeledirge torch song three times in a row with her being the last Pokemon.

The Dragonite is a fixed spawn but the IVs are random. It's a rare tera type encounter somewhere between the quarry and the cliffs that block access to the north area on the very edge of the map where the map screen is blocked off a whole segment with bars. Use the mount to climb the cliff from the quarry side then hug the wall and you'll find it somewhere around there.

Fair warning he's got steel so don't put out a fairy type

@Calwings you were right, Wattrel is a beast. I can't wait for him to get some better moves.

Shout out to this game's "big pokemon surrounded by smaller pokemon" mechanic. Being able to nab Vespiquen without pulling my hair out wishing for a female combee is increds.

Also it's just really cool to see, makes the world feel alive, and the variety of things they do with it is surprising and charming. Like, seeing oricorio surrounded by thirsty squawkabilly was a hilarious highlight.

I was disappointed when it was announced that there would be no more random grass battles. I thought they were a staple to Pokemon. Then I started playing and I much prefer this system. It makes the overworld feel so much more alive. I also like how some of the Pokemon will chase / charge at you. It feels a lot more dangerous than previous games.

It also cool because some chase you, but other run away. You can kind of see how different Pokmon react. Sometimes, they just stare at me. A Psyduck and Marill just stared at me once. And when I move to the side a little, they scooted a little, too

They did a good job of keeping tall grass feeling as it should, I think. Smaller mons are well hidden up until you nearly bump into them.

I just did the lake guardian and those psychic fish pokemon are freaking out for blood like god damn.

Speaking of the lake guardian, lmao at the little sushi guy coming out of the defeated fish's stomach and fighting you for a round 3. Really didn't expect that at all.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm not sure I can actually keep playing this game. It's just so messy, buggy and everything takes forever. Which is sad because I like the concept a lot.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm not sure I can actually keep playing this game. It's just so messy, buggy and everything takes forever. Which is sad because I like the concept a lot.

I will say the battles do almost feel like, D/P levels of sluggish because of all the delays between every animation and textbox. If they ever patch anything about this game (lol copium) I really hope they fix the battle speed.

Got Gallade to finish everything in the game up until post game and saw that it could naturally learn False Swipe

It's gonna be a slaughter when I get around to focusing on completing my Pokedex. He's already level 75

I can't believe they removed the ability to turn off battle animations. With the game running so poorly anyway, it just makes it significantly more annoying to fight anything.

Yeah. And the little maniac was so fast, I had to use dash to catch up to catch him. But dont forget Wiglett, who you have to sneak up on so it doesnt hide underground. Or Dunsparce, who will hide underground if you dont touch him right away when you get close enough

i just did an offline 5 star tyranitar raid and I depleted his HP bar 4 times and each time he regained his HP
