I wanna download something to watch tomorrow night. I like uhh
  • Satoshi Kon stuff
  • Metropolis (2001)
  • Bokura no war game, also Summer Wars but its like the same movie. Not a big fan of mamoru hosoda's other stuff so far
  • thats all the movies i can think of


Short series is also acceptable (I'm considering Kaiba)

Redline is one of the most insane (in a good, fun way) movies I've ever seen, highly recommend it.

I'm assuming you've watched Akira and Ghost in the Shell, but if not then those are both classics.

i have an awkward memory of this guy coming over to my house to watch this with me in high school. his mom and sister dropped him off and gave me fresh baked bread and like a beaded pouch as gratitude for hanging out with him

Anti-voting the Gurren Lagann movies, at least until after you watch the base series. They work better as a re-visit to the series and not a first viewing.

Redline and Ghost in the Shell are both good. I remember Tekkonkinkreet being good too, but it's been a while since I watched it.
