The midterms were conversely a test of their political potency; to see if such people could actually get into positions of power that would allow them to enforce their bullshit. Thankfully, they didn't, and at least for the moment, their influence seems to be waning. They're still a serious threat, no doubt, but they have diluted the potency of their 'election fraud' lies to the point where moderates can view them for exactly what they are, which is nothing more than sore losers.

Lake will most likely make a lot of bluster, get her ass handed to her in court, and fade into relative obscurity; if Donald Trump at the height of his political muscle couldn't do better than 1 out of 50+ in his court record, then this dimwit probably won't even make it inside the courtroom. If she attempts to rally a violent takeover, she'll find that the only reason Jan. 6th got as far as it did was because the acting Commander-in-Chief was actively encouraging it, and purposefully sitting on his hands in regard to the National Guard response.
