If Tua stays healthy, he should be in the mix just by virtue of being in that offense. I kind of doubt Hurts will have a big 2nd half of the season, so I could easily see Mahomes or Tua passing him.

Amari Rodgers runs away from his blockers, straight to defenders, all so he can turn the ball over yet again on special teams. Dude needs to be cut. His only value is to opponents.

4 fumbles on punts this season. You have one job returning punts. If hes still in on the punt return team thats on the coaches now. He should never return another punt.

I could not see what was happening, but ok I'll take it. That might've been the most lopsided upset in pick 'em I've ever taken.

Jeff Saturday actively hid Ryan was starting until very shortly before the game. Anyone who picked them picked them without knowing this.

Guess no one else noticed that Schultz caught the ball at the 37 and was driven back to the 40 which refs then decided meant Dallas ball at the 35. Fortunately didn't matter.

Eagles basically just locked up the 1 seed in the NFC without even playing. There's no worry about splitting with Dallas and losing the tiebreaker on some other game.

Both the Bills and Cowboys are now 6th place teams.

To sum up how brutal the AFC East is:

The Jets are playing for the divisional lead next week, but when they no-show against the Pats again, they'll end the week in last place.

So I ran some games before work:

The NFC is significantly cleaner than the AFC. Going into week 18:

1. Eagles
2. Vikings
3. 49ers
4. Buccaneers
5. Cowboys
6. Seahawks!
7. Giants
8. Packers

All 7 of these teams will not only have clinched, but they will also be locked into their seeding. The Packers are a game behind the Giants AND lost to the Giants, so the Giants could conceivably lose another game in there and be fine, so long as it's not being swept by Washington.

The AFC is a mess. The Ravens challenge the Chiefs for the 1 seed going into the last week, which is awful news for the Bengals, who are in with a win, but out with a loss.

The Chargers are in with a win, but out with a loss and a Jets win or a Bengals win.

The Dolphins are in with a win, or with losses by the Chargers and the Bengals.

The Jets are in if they win, and either the Chargers or Bengals lose.

The Patriots are in if they win, or any of the Chargers, Bengals, or Dolphins lose.

The entire AFC East makes the playoffs if the Chargers lose, the Bengals lose, and the Jets win. If even half of this is true, the last week in the AFC is going to be wild.

I would say there's only one particularly questionable pick when it comes to the playoff picture: I have the Patriots going to Minnesota and winning.

Why? It's Primetime Bill Belichick vs. Primetime Kirk Cousins.

The AFC East and NFC East both still have a ton of divisional games to play.

The Jets and Giants are probably going to combine for 7 losses in division before the season's done. The difference is the Giants have a much easier path. If they win any game against Washington, they can lose everything else and make the playoffs at 8-9 (If they're 8-8 with a win over Washington, they will likely clinch before week 18 even starts). We've known for a while there isn't any quality 7 seed in the NFC at all.

Meanwhile the Jets can go 10-7 and miss the playoffs primarily because of getting swept by New England. Every team in the AFC East can go 10-7 or better.

Raiders aren't making another midseason firing.

They do that and no one who isn't completely desperate is going anywhere near that job. They already jettisoned the best coach they've had in ages, too.

Speaking of interim coaches, if the Colts with that schedule can even go 4-4 with Saturday, and they don't give him a full season, they are dumb.

(And if I recall, I had them going 4-4 exactly).
