It makes the stupid bullshit deaths all the more aggravating. I know I need to git gud but I feel like they could have balanced certain things better.

I think it's too big to balance well, although they are making some changes.

really I think it's just too big. they could have cut half the content and made a much tighter game and it would still have been great.

but yes they are making changes. recently they made a massive change in that they split pve and pvp damage, so it's a hell of a lot more balanced than ever before

it's more or less my only issue with it, that I don't have the stamina for it. I've played the other from games (that I can) to death, but this one, "to death" came before the end of 1 playthrough.

I do get that it's just me though. if people like it that long, that's fine.

how many playthroughs? my ~97.5% playthrough took 281 hours... (that means percent from end of game, not total completion) (which I consider insane... I was at 350ish for the other games but that's after like 4-10 playthroughs each)

That's an insult to Zelda games, considering they are designed well. ER is stunning in how badly it's designed, with things that have been around for decades (like fucking mini-maps) missing.
