This is an argument for the merit of NFTs

I'm not sure if that's what you're doing since you've mostly been anti-NFT in here

It is not. The only part stored on the blockchain is the record of ownership, not the digital object. If the company running the server goes under and the server goes down, you get to keep the NFT (the token certifying you own the object), but you lose the object itself, so what's the point?

I can only see there existing one massive virtual world simulation important enough for people to own cars and houses in it. Maybe that's just the sci-fi perspective on it, but I can't fit buying a virtual house for the cost of a real house into the world as it exists now.

So like, if you have the Metaverse or the Oasis, the giant life MMO, cyberspace as a world, to where else exactly are you going to transfer your stuff?

You can layer infinite worlds like that on top of each other.

Your car nft could be implemented as a spaceship in another world

And that's what gets people willing to spend 50k on a virtual item

I also haven't touched bitcoin aside from buying like $250 worth of Dogecoin when Elon Musk tweeted a Doge that I sold for $400 like 4 hours later.

I love it when morally superior people have me on their ignore list and totally misunderstand what I'm saying and proudly proclaim such like they're winning something.

Ironically if I used the feature Para would be one of the first on there so I didnt have to look at his boring ranking list topics where he ends up spending more time talking about how he was introduced to the game than why it's good

Somehow that last line might be the worst opinion in this whole topic.

Note I'd never say it unprovoked because you know if people like it whatever. I just ignore the topics

But I absolutely have no interest in his long winded ramblings that say almost nothing about the game.
