This is the cycle with literally every fighting game he plays.

The first few days he'll be matched with loads of new peope, new to the game or fighting games in general, so stomping them quickly raises his rank.

Then he starts playing against people who have bothered learning the game and gets his ass handed to him. And then Phil gets angry. If you want to learn how to counter Phil: low kick, low kick, tick throw.

That is it, that is all there is to it. People can adapt, learn from their mistakes, learn matchups and so forth. Phil just can't. He learns one basic combo with a character and that's it.

For all his "technical" talk about the game, he has no fucking clue what footsies are, or 50/50 mixups for that matter. Phil also has no neutral game. He just expects one thing to work over and over.

Just like in real life dsp lacks that...ability to adapt- he has skirt by on dumb luck for decades, and a learned abillity to manipulate on top of that. This the type of mother fucker who would force a puzzle piece where it doesn't fit all the way.

More like Rage Quitter 6, with all these rage quits this pig's been doing, and this is only the beta. Game's 100% getting the KOF XV treatment where he plays a session where he's paired up against Derichs, the next stream or two he'll play against people who have learned and adapted, and then he'll go back to mindlessly playing his version of Super Turbo nobody gives a shit about anymore.

For those lucky enough to not go on twitter:
-Person in the FGC and placed second at something at EVO shows off room of fighting game cabinets like Blazblue, Darkstalkers 3, and Street Fighter 2
-Dave makes a 3 AM gin tweet basically talking about how back in the day he would have wanted this but now that he's a mature adult he doesn't need this room that this pleb who obviously never played competitively has
-Guy claps back by saying he can run the PS1 version of Super Turbo on one of the cabinets if he so desires since that was the last time Dave was ever relevant in the FGC
-Cue manbaby meltdown from Dave where he talks about how the FGC is just about "making the bag" and clout
And this is after all the bootlicking he did to Capcom and people like Justin Wong and Alex Valle pretending that he liked SF6 when he was saltier than the red sea the entire time he was playing it.

Watching the chat it's pretty clear that a large percentage of them are there to fuck with him and he has no clue.

On a related note, the fact that Phil has been alienating, shitting on and insulting people, devopers, etc for over a decade weighs ins heavily here. People are just tired of Phil's shit.
