I really don't like this Doody character. He has a perchant for doing heavy interpretation work and passing it off as fact.

I've only watched a few of their videos but I think I agree. Phil says there are detractors out there who make shit up and I 100 percent agree. Not all, or even most, but there are some. Not saying this video creator is one but he seems to see everything Phil says as a "gotcha" and tries to point to things that Phil said as proof when the things he points to don't necessarily mean what he says they do.

Yep. I tend to only watch the ones that have the raw footage and not edited. But sometimes
those show up as well

Repair shop wanted to charge him 2k to fix the car completely but he was too penny pinching to pay that much so he settled for the 1150 substandard fix which surely won't kill the longevity of his vehicle.

I never understood why some people just make stuff up or try to stretch his words to fit a narrative. All you need are clips of Phil to speak for themselves. All those types do is give him legit ammunition to fire back and claim it's all lies.

He banned a member who was a mechanic questioning him. "nuhyou cant diagnose my car over the internet morahn".. Worst part chat was agreeing with Phil. Like, dude is an actual mechanic and is telling you that you're getting screwed. So, apparently, Phil is once again all knowing.

I don't know. But, they clearly know their stuff. Doesn't evne take a genius to realize $2000 to fix his car sounds like a blatant lie. Everything DSP says is a blatant lie and none of his fans ever question him.

So, since I don't drive at all, I've never had to do car stuff before. How does getting your car back work? I assume he would have to pay the fee first and then they give him his money back, right? Well if that's the case, then he's had a spare $2,000 saved up. Which is a GOOD thing, but it's not good when you're crying broke all the time and you have a savings account.

one thing I hate about DSP is how much he looks like Bob Belcher from Bob's Burgers, so whenever I watch the show, it's hard not to make those comparisons.

Someone called DSP's automechanic shop and got the details of his bill and posted it on reddit. Phil is mad about it and gearing up a beg podcast about the evils of online stalking.

Edit: Apparently they didn't call the mechanic, they made an account on their website under the username "Snort Mobile" and filled out his details and it gave them the bill associated with that data.

Phil is pretending he used his car breakdown as a master plan to own the trolls. He's not gotten to the point yet because he can't do anything faster than a slug, but it's going to be some dumbassshit about how his trolls insisted his car breakdown was fake and now the trolls disproved themselves by stealing his car shop info.

So he said he has had the car for 5 years I think.
He then said the car just hit 10,000 miles.

He drives less than 2000 miles a year?

All his fans are believing whatever he says, no wonder he scams them often.

Wonder if this was his plan all along or hes legitimately angry they found out the truth and hes trying to backpedal.

Phil's claim is that he intentionally engineered a situation where he would have identity theft committed against him.

There's literally zero chance that happened.

I dunno, I was on a restream. There was some confusion over where it was located, but Phil confirmed the info.

Based on what people were saying he got charged 1150 dollars for the shop changing his battery and sparkplugs, which is supposedly Phil getting fleeced. But I know nothing about cars and almost nothing about USD, so I have no intelligent comment.

Phil insisted his detractors don't own mirrors. Because calling other people "too poor to own a mirror" when you beg every single day is what normal people do.

It's funny, he complains about theft, getting fleeced for his car's repairs. But when he literally has SEVERAL solutions (i.e. monitors) at the ready, he has get money from his fans to buy a new TV.

My takeaway from the whole broken car stealth operation is that Phil wants an interview, but you see what happens when he shows evidence of the claims he makes. This is why he doesn't have to prove anything he says and you should believe him anyway.

That's basically what he was pulling here. After the fact. Again, I cannot believe for a single second that Phil would willingly allow himself to be a victim of "identity theft" as he puts it to get one made up moronic point on the trolls.

his budget started at like 400 and it would go higher if people donated. I say at least one 100 dollar donation and I want to say there was probably 2 of those but I'm not totally sure.

Iirc he changed his payment info for his ps5 hours before it shipped which caused amazons system to be unable to handle the order properly and delayed its arrival by several days and he went full Karen spending hours on the phone with Amazon complaining and bragging about being a streamer.
