For me it's going to be Halloween Kills.

It'sgets absolutely shit on but the movie to me did so much well that it seems unfair to call a train wreck and the "worst horror movie of all time"

Silent Hill

It's a solid horror movie in its own right and even though it ditches the Order storyline, I think it still manages to capture the feeling of the games very well.

Silent hill was great. Been ages since I watched it, but it took a unique spin while still retaining the vibes from the game and the fan service was done really well.

There hasn't been a single movie in the past 10 years that I've enjoyed more than Zach Snyder's Justice League. It's the reason I got HBO Max last year and I've watched it more than 15 times. I think Ben Affleck is the best live action Batman of all time.

Exactly.

And really, I think the decision to swap to a Christian cult rather than trying to explain the rather convoluted religion of the Order was a wise one.

Cube Zero

In my opinion even better than the first Cube film. It adds context to the other films while still retaining a bit of mystery. I think most people preferred the style of the first film.

OtherLife

I should watch this film again, quite interesting. Reminded me a little bit of Primer and Inception. Other people seemed to not like the plot.

Infinity Chamber

Another brilliant Sci-Fi which was not that popular for whatever reason.

Water World.
I think WaterWorld is a special case.
The theatrical cut was extremely bad, a real mess.
The TV stations got access to a longer version that they could cut themself to fit it to whatever timeslot they wanted, and these extra scenes turns a bad movie into something that is enjoyable.
It may not be the best movie in the world, but well worth watching at least once.

Kind of a weird one and maybe it isn't exactly what the topic is on....

Kingdom of Heaven - The original theatrical release was very very very meh. Then they came out with a Director's Cut that turns it into a 9/10 movie as opposed to a 5/10. If you can watch the Directors Cut it's an A+ but the average person won't look at Director's Cut v Theatrical release. They just remember "bad movie".

Last Action Hero

A shame that they decided to release it at the same time as fucking JURASSIC PARK in the theaters. I also think it was misunderstood at the time of its release. It was Arnold making fun of himself and the action movie genre as whole, it was great.

It does drag a bit in the 3rd act tho

The pacing is so incredibly fast, the set pieces are strange and beautiful, the action is tight, it gets getting spaced right, yet it spends just enough time to establish its characters and backstory to get you to care.
Plus Akima is a bad bitch.

Hmm, no wonder she was my favorite character...

In any case, Silent Hill was a pretty good watch too.

To date, its the best representation of a video game in movie form and its just plain fun. I fully get why people looking for a deeper experience would be disappointed, but then, if you go into a movie called Hardcore Henry expecting an in-depth character drama, youre an idiot.
