Guy had a straight flush draw with a 7 & 8 and went all in on the turn and the woman had a Jack/four off suit. Had no flush or straight draw. She calls and wins the pot with a jack high.

This article Im reading says he stormed off into the casino after the hand and she caught up to him and talk about it. He told her she knows this is gonna go viral (since the event was live-streamed) and her face changed and immediately offered to pay him back so that seems super sus.

Yeah I imagine all they can do is disqualify him in this event, and then ban him going forward.

It'd be really hard to prove past events.

To add to this - the loser of the hand (Garret) is one of the best live game high stakes players in the world and a regular in this game. The winner of the hand (Robbi) is a relatively unknown player that usually plays much lower stakes (10/25 compared to 100/200/400 they were playing) and not many people think she is any good.

The hand itself didnt make sense. She had jack high and no real draws, he had an open ended flush draw with 8 high. Turn action went bet/raise/shove/call (with jack high). Garret bricked the river.

After the hand Garret couldnt get over it and a few other pros at the table also seemed very disturbed. He eventually gets up from the table and then a few minutes she is summoned and leaves as well. A few minutes later she comes back and takes $125k that she won in the hand off the table and leaves. Garret then comes back a few minutes later and puts $125k back in his stack without any explanation. (She paid him the money she just won back).

Another player at the table is apparently staking her and gets enraged that she paid him back. He leaves and you could hear yelling in the background for several minutes.

During and right after the hand her explanation of why she would call didnt make sense and kept changing. She has been on Twitter changing her stories and mind about things and been generally very inconsistent.

The community is kind of split into whether or not she is good and cheated or really bad and had no idea what she was doing. Its kind of one or the other. Garret is also taking heat for forcing her to pay him back. People claim she wouldnt have paid him back if she wasnt cheating.

I watched the steam live because a friend at the hustler casino told me it would be worth watching. I dont think she was cheating. I think she made a terrible play at the right time and got lucky.
