They ran out of phrases twenty years ago, so they just do random short sentences for that now.

It's why that's objectively the worst final category to choose.

I'd say "thing" is worse.

It's just about the broadest possible category.

One of the pastimes of the Wheel fan board I visit is googling the phrases the show uses and seeing how few hits they get.

It's just about the broadest possible category.
"Thing" can at least be narrowed down a bit by thinking of it more as "thing that doesn't really fit any of our other 30 categories"
