Where's my sparking Switch port, Nintendo?

XCX is definitely Avatar-flavored.

Confined to a single shitty media platform despite actually being really good?

I refuse to call it a masterpiece until they give us a sequel.

Still waiting on the Switch port, Nintendo! But I guess it won't be happening. Would have been nice to have the whole Xenoblade saga on one console.

Hopefully they make a sequel to it and then port it.

A financial failure

Honestly I know it needs to be brought to current gen, but I worry about how interacting with the map would work.

The gamepad made the map fucking seamless. Transportation, quick travel, those node things, it all worked so well. But once it's ported, you're going to have to pause every single time you want to open the map to check where you are and to do all that exploration stuff.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a reason NOT to port it, but I worry it'll make the gameplay significantly hindered

I play it on the PC without a Wii U Pad. It still works pretty well imo

I wish the game gave more incentive for players to explore the main city. It was actually very well done. As you progress through the game more alien races appear and the city becomes more lively and populated by them. But the story itself kind of implied a sense urgency onto us which made it seem counter-productive. Lmao.

Your minor party members though were the biggest offense. You have to first remember they existed, utilize them to raise their affinity rating, to unlock their missions and increase their utility. I didn't discover this until 3/4ths into the game.

Same. I played this like XC1 basically going STORY STORY STORY as fast as I could.

Had no idea this was supposed to be played like a more open world / side-quest oriented game until like you, like 3/4ths of the way through.

So fucking good the second time through. My god.

Maybe we'll get a port before XC4. We did get the DE of 1 between 2 and 3.

Good game but it could have used more time in the oven. Awful QOL choices, songs that dont loop, tiny text, lack of tutorials, incomplete main story, and NLA not living up to its full potential. NLA was awesome, but how much better would it be if you could physically develop it.

The way I have it set up, I press tab to open the GamePad view and use the mouse to simulate the tapping. It works pretty well imo
