How often do you go to that buffet?

There's several in my home city and surrounding area. I go to the "Super China Buffet" and "Royal Buffet" occasionally when I'm in the mood.

Yeah always like 4 within 20 miles.

I don't go anymore. My metabolism slowed down. In my 20s I'd go once a month and get all the mushrooms I could get. I loved those big juicy mushrooms and the stuffed ones they had. And the broccoli. You could just eat that and some moderate dessert and have to run it off.

When I was a little kid, I could devour 4 plates and still eat a meal in front and back of that. And I'd eat all the sugary and fat shit back then. Omg

Can I have some medication that makes me like that again? It would be nice to eat 4000 calories instead of 1800 each day.

Stuffed mushrooms...those are yummy!

I used to eat more than I do now...but I still eat a lot.

I think my favorite was one of the seafood things made of crab or shrimp. It looked all buttery or something. The cheese and stuffed mussels were good too. Hell, I liked all their stuff.

Oh, all those you mentioned or pictured are really good! I love those!

I wanna say it was like a crab casserole mini cutlet swimming in butter in one of their buffet trays, but it was baked a bit too. Or like crab bake. It was very good. I dont think I ever knew the name. They are famous for having crab casseroles and seafood bakes though. Especially the bigger nicer ones. We had one in Perrysburg, OH in 2006 that was amazing. It was $11.50 pe person dinner back then and like $6 or 7 at lunchtime for 3 hours.

Most of them closed, there are a few around, but nothing close enough I would go to on the regular. Plus I can't shove food down like I used to 10+ years ago so buffets are not really my thing.

There are, however, a million Chinese take-out places where you can get a pretty decent lunch/dinner for under $10.

There's one near me, but I almost never go. I've never been a fan of buffet-style restaurants in general in the first place, and I have a pretty limited palette for Chinese food I like, so it's not really worth it to me. And the one near me doesn't necessarily have the best food anyway.

When I want Chinese I just go to one of my local places (I've probably got like a dozen nearby) and order takeout.

I did, but they didn't survive the covid period.

Pretty sure there's one in town. Might've been once since I moved here, don't remember. Not really big into buffets.

Yeah I have no idea how the one near me survived. It's pretty much just there.

I don't know if we have anything like that here. English food is kind of boring except for breakfast stuff I guess. I don't know if I would try a blood sausage.

I have to drive 30 minutes to just find one that's halfway decent
