Do you go with major franchise like Domino's or Papa Johns? Or do you get from a local mom and pop shop owned by residents who moved to your state from New York?

Domino's is my go to for "crappy mainstream" pizza, it's my favorite of the bad pizza, if that makes sense. But I do have some amazing local pizzarias here, especially that I like to take girls out on dates to. Although they are a bit more expensive.

I live in New Jersey, so we have plenty of Italian-Americans of our own running pizzerias and Italian restaurants.

I pretty much refuse to eat "fast food" pizza.

Pizza hut or Marco's. Not really any particularly great pizza places around here to my knowledge, but I love any pizza that's not a cheap frozen pizza.

Jets is fucking king of chain pizza by far.
Almost always local. Lived in a pizza desert in Indiana for awhile though, and Jets was way better than most the local trash.

I usually avoid local places. Theyre usually really expensive for pizza thats not that much better Chains can be cheap if you have coupons The main places I go are Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, and
Little Caesars Theres one local place I sometimes go to. But its really expensive. But if everyone chips in, its not too bad

That said, when I go home, they get Ledos quite often. Its not bad

I live on the wrong side of the street to be able to order from the mom and pop local place that makes the best pies in the area, if not all of Ontario. Can't remember the name atm.

Used to have a local wood fired pizzeria where the pizza was a giant square, cut into squares, great for people that disliked crusts, but the crust was decent too.

I used to make a great dough with beer and a bread maker with a pizza dough setting, but I never had a really nice oven to cook it in.

My sister worked for a couple that spent all the money on the wood burning stove and had no business plan for the first five years beyond "sell many pizza goodly" in a saturated restaurant market.

Dominos is the only pizza place in my area that delivers. Theres a chain called Texas Hands and I guess you can get pizza at Saizeriya, but if I want pizza, Im always going to opt for Dominos from those options. Its a bummer not living near any decent pizza. I have to drive like an hour and a half to the only good pizza joint relatively close to me

I used to live in Virginia. There was family owned chain called original Italian pizza. Or OIP for short. I loved that place. Lived up the road from the local ones owners. They where as far as I could tell legit born and bred Italians.

Outside that I don't really care. I'll take any of the big threw. Pizza hit and papa John's have stuffed crust which I love domino's has the best plain crust though

It was your typical new York style pizza but it was better. They did the whole spinning it and tossing it in the air thing before cooking it. And their large was actually fucking large.

Pizza from the mom and pop stores in my opinion is far better than the chain stores simply because their ingredients are fresher and their dough is made on the spot.

I've tried pizza from the local Marco's: the sausage they used on their pizzas are too bland. West Shore Pizza (which is a local chain) is mediocre; haven't tried my local Jets pizzeria yet. Papa John's was all right (haven't touched it since it changed owners, however) and usually order Pizza Hut but the best I've had lately was from Domino's, strangely enough since I've never ordered pizza from them before. I plan to check out a lot more of the local pizzerias, however, since people I know recommend them.

Papa John's is typically the cheapest here so them. If I had the money I would only order from local places. There's a great one in this city and an even better one in the next city over.

Marco's is terrible. I got it once and they used canned mushrooms.
