Skyrim and WoW I both played way more than they were worth

games I've played "too much" that are worth it are Factorio (1500+ hrs), KSP (2250+ hrs), and maybe Morrowind although I don't have a time played figure for it (must be in the many 1000s of hrs)

Solitaire years ago. Not sure why, but I kept playing it and got faster and faster.

That windows pinball game I played the shit out of.

I kept doing new game plus over and over on Parasite Eve for a week without saving around 2000ish. I'd also watch Night of The Living Dead 1990 after each nightly run. Wtf kinda weirdo routine was that?

DOAX on Xbox until I got everything.

Minecraft goes without saying. Sometimes I just dig and collect metals for no reason.

EverQuest 2 I did all the collection quests on my paladin. Anyone who knows knows that ridiculous.

I played Bloodborne 200 hours after platinum just kept clearing hardest dungeons and collecting gems. I couldn't get enough of that damn game.

Morrowind, literally did every single quest tailored to each faction so I had the most quests to do. I'd kill for a remaster on ps4 or 5. Honestly, I don't think they could handle it. The OG game and Tribunal alone would be quite an undertaking.

Did thw same with Oblivion and Skyrim, but Skyrim at launch 100%. Never played expansions. Fallout 3 and 4 the same way.

Slay the Spire, many hundred hours

Ummm...most of the games I truly enjoy. I tend to suck every ounce of enjoyment out of them.

Of late DQ11, BOTW, Star Ocean 3, and Twilight Struggle on iOS...should that count.

oh yeah Minecraft is another, though I'm not sure how worth it it is/was. probably somewhere in between worth it and not worth it.

I can easily do that with most games. There are certain games that I would come home and play for hours on end every day Lately, I have been switching games a little more

I returned to Genshin Impact a few weeks ago, so...that. Diablo 3 would have been there, too, if I had any desire to return to it.

I'm still trapped in Starcraft 2. Sitting at about 11k games played. I still play other games occasionally, but I always come back for my high APM fix. Everything else just feels so slow. RPGs put me to sleep now sadly.

It's one of those games you play anywhere when you're bored. When a big new patch releases I'm playing it non-stop for a few days.

We have Oblivion characters in real life now. Not sure if they give xp or not, but I didn't see any athletics skill ups so not sure how to engage.

Not anymore, but my biggest ones were City of Heroes and Skyrim.

i remember back in the day I beat Breath of Fire 2 like 8 times in a row just to see what the ONE line of dialogue you get for each character is when you beat the final boss

Yea, there are a couple F2P games I have sunk thousands of hours into and never payed a cent. I have a raspberry pie running macros on a cron job to farm all the daily tasks for them. I have unlocked everything in them, but I have still been running these macros for the last 2 years for...reasons...

Honestly just boredom.

Ive probably played Super Mario World way more than is warranted. There were times Id just do 100% completion for no real reason other than it was a comforting game to play.

Also Oblivion. I played so much of that game.
