Shocked there isn't one. What level you guys at? Beat the singleplayer?

Just got to lvl 6 in multiplayer... Spent most of my time finishing Story mode and the secret last level...

Definitely ready to do more MP and Salmon Run since I'm done with Singleplayer besides finding a few of the collectibles I missed...

very light skill tree that's mostly gained from the overworld

I can't seem to connect online with my wifi. I have to use my phone's hotspot and even that's finicky.

So I've just gotten to level 4 to get new gear. Been recording a Let's Play with the story mode instead.

Really wish they didn't cut down on the rewards after 1200 points because it makes it worth less to keep playing

So far out of 1/2/3, this has by a huge leap, the best singleplayer I've played thus far. They got Monolith's help, and it shows in the world design. It's incredibly expansive, and the missions are pretty fun. The first 2 felt like a serious slog.

I'm lvl 19 and lvl 33 in the catalog. I'm addicted

Also does anyone else have a problem with the Aerospray? Imo it has too much killing power for how good it is at inking turf

Aerospray is pretty dope but it's inaccurate as hell. I've had people in my sights point blank and only like half the shots hit at times lol

Splat dualies and Aerospray are my favorites tho so far. I mained dualies in 2.

I feel this... I feel like I'm just a huge target with the Inkjet...

Range is still pretty great in the game, so Aerospray is countered by those I guess :P. Splattershot Pro kills in 3 good hits and just about doubles Aerospray range, so if you consider the Pro user to kite backwards and shoot the Aerospray user, you're gonna win more than not.

Sadly I don't think Tableturf is actually true PVP, even though it's designed to be perfectly playable by 2 human players. You can, however, see 6 people in the city at a time who are real players, and you can challenge them piloted by a bot. But I'm not sure how to change the deck or the map used by my AI? There's no real way to confirm either, but I'd have to think it has something to do with the last round played.

But yeah it's actually a surprisingly deep and fun card game with a lot of strategy. But the AI will fucking cheat. They know what move you make and will react to what you do, which will often put you in an unfavorable position.

There are other rules like if you both put down pieces at the same time, the lower value piece will go 2nd and will overwrite the 1st piece. There are other minor complicated rules like they can't overwrite the core piece unless their core piece overlaps yours.

Also if you and the opponent put the same value pieces at the same time, the overlapping pieces become a wall, and you actually cannot put new pieces on there even with the special

Had a match where I was using a roller. A couple of different times I turned a corner and splatted the entire enemy team. Once they basically swam under the roller in a single file line. Near the end of the match I think they were spreading out a bit to avoid that.

Had 13 kills by pure accident.

Had a funny game of Tableturf earlier where the computer and I both played the same card in the same exact spot in the same turn so a big gray shape just popped up and wasted that quarter of the board for the rest of the game. Tableturf is a fun little side game though. And I love the art on the weapon cards. The stumpy little inklings and octolings are so cute.

Aerospray isn't that great because of rng. At higher ranks people with better aim/weapons will usually delete them.

A lot of weapons turf almost as wel but have better kill potential.

I stuck bunch of special charge up on the hydra splatling and now I main the booyah bomb.

I was a curling bomb main in 2, but the stages in 3 aren't so good to my dear sploosh. Oh well. Maybe that second bow will work better for me when I level up enough.

Can someone explain the crab tank to me? I've never seen it used or have used it effectively. It's basically always popped into an auto kill or just fizzles out. It seems like an actual detriment more than anything. Looks cool though I guess. But no idea how to actually use it to any advantage

The guns have to ramp up

The strong shot seems kinda bad because they reset the ramp up of the guns

It makes you moderately tanky and basically completely destroys a chokepoint. It's really good in tower most of all, but it's also great in the one where you have to carry the thing to the goal. The best thing about it is the range. I don't recommend the cannon unless you know they're hiding behind a wall and turtling.

Also the gatling gun is a ramp up, and it has a really long range. If you space yourself well, you should probably win against anything but a snipe to the head

In about six days of playing on and off when I can:

7% exploration in Alterna (Still in Site 1, about 50% exploration there) Honestly have barely even touched the single-player so far.

Haven't even tried Tableturf or decorated my locker yet.

Man. It's annoying that I can pinpoint a lot of my bad habits but can't help making them in the moment.

Like, at the start of the game I'll be like "I need to do this, this, and this" but then immediately go into panic mode and end up overplaying.

I'm not sure how I feel about them adding medals to ranked, and especially giving more points for them. I feel like it's going to make people chase medals rather than try to win the game.

Like, getting a medal for most inked turf isn't a good thing if you got it from inking turf no where near objective or your teammates, but people will see a gold medal and assume they did their part and actually be rewarded for it because they'll still get more points in a losing effort.

Edit: And vice versa, people who did their role well and contributed well but didn't get a medal because they weren't over inking or chasing kills that don't matter may feel like they underperformed and try to do too much next time, leading to feeding in the short term or learning bad habits overall.

What I'm saying is, people are going to go for the most kills or most turf ink to get a medal to justify that they were doing well.

In higher ranks it won't matter as much because people will realize that the medals are meaningless. But in lower ranks people will link their contribution to their medals which isn't necessarily a good indicator.

Someone in this game went 0 and 11. I don't think I've ever seen that.

I usually play Salmon Run when clam blitz is on. I like when all modes were ranked separately, now clam blitz tanks my whole ranking so I can't even play it for the hell of it.

I can't play turf war, people do too many weird things. I got rushed by a splattershot pro in my last turf war game.

It's frustrating getting teammates who are so bad that you'd literally be better off in a 3v4 because at least they wouldn't be feeding. I'm talking people who end with like a k/d ratio of like 1 and 10.

Bonus points if they're not painting either.
