Entity13 09/14/22 12:16:21 AM #51:	I ended up quitting on Gunnerkrigg Court, because it's felt for the past year or more like they're spiraling between endgame flag to endgame flag without any real forward progression, a couple characters I liked are gone while a couple others just don't appear often to make room for ones I don't care about, and I'm just all around tired of GkC. Compare to Questionable Content, which looks like it's moving toward a potential ending, which would be fine since so many stories are resolved or at a cathartic point in their respective journeys, ~~plus Faye and Bubbles, which felt forced into being for the sake of making the grumpiest main cast character happy, but is alright now that the introduction of their relationship is done.~~ We'll see how much more of a future there is for QC, versus whether or not Jacques bothers to make something new. Quantum Vibe is an "interesting" comic in spite of the Artist's libertarian bent. Manly Guys Doing Manly Things has pretty much stopped updating since Kelly got full time animation work. Most artists flame out early, some manage to go go several years before burnout sets in, a few have been able to make a living off it, some of them propelled to stardom, and some of those stopped making comics when they did. Though if anyone knows Robert M Cook of Mansion of E, I am wondering if he is all right; I've mentioned before that he stopped updating during the pandemic. Twenty years of daily comics, never a big audience, just a few regulars for a passion project.
