I don't agree with the poster above me, but given that you're somewhere in the 5-foot height range and not like an athlete or sportsman, 100kg+ is a bit on the heavy side.

230 pounds spread over a 65 frame is totally different from a 50 person weighing the same.

Even a 65 man would be over weight at 230 lbs.

230 is chunky but not obese. Unless you are really short. Your height matters a lot when figuring this out.

Maybe in Asia? 6'+ guys were rare when I was a kid, and for a long time I was the tallest person I knew, but last time I went back to college, it wasn't unusual to see people taller than me. All white guys, oddly.

I can't remember my exact height and I don't have a way to check at the moment

But I am about 230 pounds. I weigh myself every day and I fluctuate between 230 to like 237. Though I also think my scale might not work properly

But I don't feel obese. I have a good sized beer belly. That's it. I'm way smaller still than say that Boogie guy on YouTube

It's sad how we're so obese that people are legitimately thinking that 230 isn't heavy. For fuck sakes you would still be on the heavy side even if you removed 50 pounds and weight 180 (as an average sized male)

Heavy and obese aren't the same. I agree I count as overweight. I blame my childhood metabolism being so good that I never learned how to keep weight down because it never was an issue until like my 30s

But obese is way different from just overweight. Obese is when you might die if you don't lose a bunch of pounds

There 6 feet and 6 feet 5.

The latter is a minority. The former is fairly common.

the average american male weighs 199.7 lbs. based on that, 230 is 'heavy'. note that this does not say anything about "overweight", or "obese". just "weighs more than average", that's it. don't overthink it.

If you're over 200 lbs, for your own health considerations, consider slimming because you might either be a meathead or a fatass*. Both equally less than ideal.

*Exceptions apply.

6'4, 330. I'm as God made me.

I'm 6'4 and currently 249. Used to be up around 360. At 250 I still have some chunk but I feel a lot better weighing 110 pounds less than I used to.

At 6'2" 220lbs I'm happy to know all those hours at the gym didn't disqualify me from being petite.

It's not limited to "extremely" muscular men though. I'm decently built, but not fuckin' Shaq or Arnold or whatever, yet my bmi would be 30 at 6'3" 240lbs.
