It actually isn't. A REMAKE would change the game. And no, enhancing the graphics does not count as changing the game. This is a remaster and you are letting Sony steal money from you. Congrats?

It's being built from the ground up so it's a remake, I don't believe faithfulness matters there

I hope they improve the gameplay. I recall I tried the original last of us, and gave up about 10-15 hours in because I felt the gameplay was just too slow and clunky. I eventually just watched the cutscenes online to finish it

I wrote Sony a letter detailing my ideas for a TLoU/Among Us crossover game called The Last of Sus and also Joel flosses but they haven't responded yet.

These graphics and facial animations are fucking insane. Always thought the intro where Sarah dies was sad but it is absolutely horrific now. I actually cried even though Ive played this game 15-20 times before.

no i cancelled my preorder from Best Buy and found a GameStop with a copy in stock yesterday.

Remakes are not supposed to change anything other than adding some bonus stuff like a new area.
