true in a sense but it's more like Republicans tie a lot of their identity in their line of work, especially if they're small business owners, at that point it's what has defined them as a person entirely "I'm a small business owner!!!". that's why the get so riled up and upset when you defend employee rights

I've always felt a certain amount of profit should divied up and split among the staff. More to the lower levels as they are the backbone. Would create incentive for quality work and maybe even them promoting the brand themselves.

If I knew I'd get a fat bonus check if more people bought my companies shit I'd definitely be recommending it to people all the while trying to make sure it was a product worth recommending.

not my problem. they can pay living wages/salaries, or get fucked and go bankrupt. those are their only two choices. a business is not a person and is worth less than any person.

There's such a tiny difference between a couple hundred dollars more each paycheck for basic needs and survival, and a 17 million dollar bonus for someone with a 9 figure bank account. I agree. Problem is we have to find a way to make emoplyers pay this without passing the buck onto someone else. Not defending them. Just saying they will find a way to keep making their money by hook or crook. Whatever the saying is.

Employees wanting to be paid more for their work is not equivalent to companies wanting be paid more for the work their employees do.

If that's the case, then it's okay. Poor people have the right to take whatever the fuck they want, using whatever methods they can, just like corporations. That's what you mean, isn't it, tc?
