I'm drinking and playing Yakuza: Like a Dragon. I'm almost 70 hours in so I think I'll be able to finish it either today or tomorrow. Really great game.

nice. I passed 70 hours in Witcher 3 not that long ago. Still haven't even touched expansions yet, and stopped with the main quest because I got a warning about not being able to back out once I start, so I want to do expansion stuff before beating the main game (and I'm levelled enough). Just finishing up previously neglected ? points all over the map now.

Getting pretty good in the in-game card game too. Got the unique cards for the 2 main characters and won a tournament that had some pretty good players in it. Got lucky in the semifinal because she completely fucked herself and wasted half of her active hand in one round AFTER I passed for the round, only to lose in spite of using all those extra cards. AI fail lol. I was way too far ahead that round and I had conceded round 1 to her, so she didn't even need to win and could have just conceded and saved her cards for the final round, but instead she wasted most of them, lost anyway and had nothing left while I had saved by best stuff.

I hated the core gameplay >_<. Loved everything else. But as soon as dungeons started getting even slightly long, it lost me. It just immediately felt like a chore. Ill try again eventually

I love the gameplay. But I'm a turn-based JRPG kinda guy.

Although I really like that the story and characters are nothing like a stereotypical JRPG.

I bought The Witcher 3 for sale a long time ago, but I'll wait until my ps plus runs out to start it up. I beat Witcher 2 earlier this year and freakin loved it.

I didn't want to at first. Confused me too much and I like to play drunk so spam-attack combat is ideal. Card game having to fucking actually use my brain... not so much... but I had a bunch of quests around it and I'm a fucking OCD about completionism so I forced myself to learn. Don't regret it at all. Really getting into it now, especially when opponents are wagering really good cards so the wins really matter. Really figuring out the strategy not just for playing but deck management too. Had some crucial wins just by knowing my opponent would have a deck stacked on a specific line and getting an extra weather card for that line on the initial pre-match discard assuming they would protect it with a weather clear card, which they did and I smacked them back down with my 2nd weather card that they couldn't cancel lol. If you get them (both are available through Gwent quests), Geralt and Ciri are OP cards. 15 power and usable across all decks. Yennefer and the shady Elf dude are good too. She's 7 power with the revive ability and he's got the spy ability with a 0 power so he won't fuck you by boosting opponent score while spying.

I also faced someone with a Monster-theme deck and he went HARD on the cards that summon identical cards in automatically, but I knew those motherfuckers would all be front line so I took an extra ice weather and fucked him up after he spammed front line monsters. I think he was the final opponent in that tournament quest. Unlike the others before him, I won the first time and didn't have to reload lol.

yeah I kinda did that too. My brother recommended it to me when it was on sale for like 75% off so I said fuck it and got it, but I didn't actually start playing until at least a month later, probably longer. I figured it would be worth it but I was not in a hurry and still playing Skyrim at the time. It was definitely worth it.

I watched Canada's version of Big Brother (guilty pleasure) and several seasons ago they had a newfie with such a thick accent that they actually put subtitles in every time he spoke lol. His name was Will, but it became clear later in the game that he had no fucking chance of winning whatsoever, so the fanbase started calling him "Won't." I thought that funnier than it probably is.

Far Cry 6 deluxe edition was on sale for like $28 so I grabbed it, i've played every Far Cry so far and liked them except Primal. I know a-c-a-b has played a bunch lately, i'll let you know what I think. Game looks pretty outstanding on current gen, the character model for Gus Fring is impressive. I probably won't care much about the story, reading it's weak, so i'm just gonna treat this like i'm going against the cartel in Breaking Bad.

I like playing those games as Rambo and ignoring everything else. I didn't buy it and played it at my cousins, so when needing specific bullet types happened, I noped out. I wasn't trying to learn or need to adjust to anything new lol. It didn't seem to bother anyone else tho.

Yeah early game I saw there are bullet types, i'll see how it goes but i'm not opposed. I heard the fishing is worse in this one, and it was already kind of annoying getting big fish in 5. Feels like 3 with the tropical setting, started getting burned out a bit on the concept and never played any of the DLC for 5 or 4, maybe there's enough new with this one.

I'm still playing it. I got sidetracked with Yakuza: Like a Dragon, but I'm very close to the end and then I'll finish up Far Cry 6. I'm a good ways into the game. I've fully completed 2 of the 3 major regions before Anton's region.

I like the game but I think 5 was better.

I did the fishing a bit to get a trophy. It seems the exact same as in 5 to me.

Although I just caught a bunch of basic fish just for the sake of getting a trophy.

I've been trying to hunt down a Taurus 922 revolver for several years, and the damn thing is a unicorn.

Not real into it, but I own a few and a lot of places around here sell and have good stock. I'll keep an eye out and let you know.
