This is just how it seemed to me, I've got no evidence. Never cared for Letterman, seemed like he'd be a huge asshole when the cameras weren't on. The real irony is that he took a ton of shit for the situation where he really shouldn't have, but also didn't take much shit at all in the situation where he should have.
