Board 8 > Birthdays can kind of suck someimes

A bunch of people that pretend i dont exist for most of the year texting me at 8am despite knowing with 5 seconds of research that i likely didn't get home from work until after midnight and needed to sleep so i could go to work today.

That's one of the reasons I got rid of facebook years ago. Also would try to prevent people from knowing about my birthday at work. Some of them still inadvertently found out, but I also don't give away my phone number freely so at least they had to wait til they saw me.

Happy...birthday?

Birthdays are overrated. We're all adults now. Who gives a shit. (Not aimed at you btw, just my general feeling on "cake" days.)

Birthdays are fine. But when your communication with someone amounts to saying happy birthday in a text year to year it is annoying.

But anyway sorry for being a big ball of depression. Birthdays at this point are just an unfortunate reminder of the amount of people that really dont give that much of a shit about me.

Stopped celebrating birthdays almost 2 decades ago

Birthdays are fine. I send cards to my nieces and nephews until they turn 18. My own birthdays may involve visiting my parents or going out for dinner. Everyone likes to celebrate, and birthdays make a fine excuse.

Birthdays are fun but I hate giving/receiving gifts.

I love my birthday but the people who try to extend it to a birthday week or a birthday month need to get over themselves

Mine was next and it month divided by two
And then yours was the sum of both

And ermines is usually the last day of the shortest month but there was no good math for it.

Yeah 7x2, 8/2 and almost the day that doesn't exist is how I remember those.

And then I'm 8x2+8/2.
