I saved up a ton of billets (I have like seven bows) so I'm naturally pretty pissed.

Hey @DarkRoast just soze ya knows, you can convert old billets to the new ones, and all you need is two of those dream solvents you probably have saved up!

It was buried in the notes for the 3.0 update, so a lot of people probably missed it.

I have zero of those transform items because I've used them all on boss item conversions sadly

The better question is how do you NOT have a ton of em?
Just do at least 3 weekly bosses every week coz the rewards are always super worth it.

I guess if you're pulling every character as they come out and max out talents asap you can prob run low. Most people that only pull multiple patches apart would have more materials built up.

Idk what to tell ya man; you're either not running bosses or have insanely bad luck in dropping solvents (or weekly boss drops in general) then.

I do level talents, it's just that I never level talents beyond levels that I could plausibly need.

If I don't plan to use a character in Spiral Abyss, I almost never level any talents past 7 (or 10 if they have the constellation upgrade bonus) because nothing outside of there is strong enough to even remotely justify it. Same goes for their "off" talents. For example Yun Jin is at 7/10/12 and I'm going to keep her that way. I might crown her burst someday but that's it.

I think y'all are leveling talents way past what can actually be useful if you are out of dream solvents. Not that I'm judging you, the only reason I haven't done the same is because it takes so much time and I couldn't be bothered. But still. I would bet money that anyone who is out of dream solvents would have had zero negative consequences if they had left all their least useful talents at 7 or under.

Ngl I don't do weekly bosses unless I need their material for a specific character, and then any solvent I get just goes into boss material conversion asap lol

The Shenhe quest was nice. She basically carried me through all the Lv 49 areas/bosses

Ningguang can use Gate of Babylon

Ningguang is the perfect example of a character nobody uses but nobody really knows why (other than geo not having reactions). Her DPS actually surpasses Diluc.

She feels, I dunno clunky?

Playing Ning feels bad and lolgeo. I also dislike her looks and personality tbh.

Ning is kinda screwed since she was made before they agreed on making Geo scale on DEF. All the stuff that can help her works better for other units that can convert DEF to offense damage.

The only good things about Nings are her screens providing ample energy, low cost burst perfect for Prototype Amber healing, and her legs.

I didn't really like her when I first pulled her, but after seeing her story stuff I like her a lot more

Power is sexy, I guess

Ningguang is an unabashed "rich bitch" and I like it. Very femdom.

Conversely, Beidou has big tomboy energy and I like that too (as one myself)

if her normal -> charge attack was as smooth as Yanfei Id use her a lot more. As is, she feels clunky to use.

Also Im giving up on getting sumerus bounties and weekly rep quests before tomorrow. No way in hell can I pull 41% more exploration and some quests out of my ass in time.

I think you won't get the 40% exploration reward no matter what you do.
You need to finish the world quests. The non-plant quests will raise your reputation faster.

Feeling pretty happy that the leaks are showing that the 3.1 banners will have Cyno and Candance together. <3 <3

Also I got to Inazuma last night so I'm pretty excited to see the new sights.

Thankfully I have literally no reason to roll on the next 3.0 banners since I have C6 Ganyu and zero interest in Kokomi's constellations.

I might pull for Nahida, but I don't think she's even in the beta yet.

Kokomi and Nahida are the ones Ill wish for, then its saving for more Yae.

I hated Kokomi when I first got her, but now she's second only to Kazuha in terms of how often she's on my team.

Kazuha is fucking broken, btw.

It's what I kept saying since release, she is a fantastic comfort character
I never had her leave the Abyss teams from the moment I had her gear/levels ready.

I probably will have to build a full EM spec gilded dreams for Kokomi though.
DTrav, Collei, Nilou, Kokomi, with Kokomi carrying the group's bloom triggers. Hopefully her low HP healing will still be enough...
I suppose Nilou with maximum possible HP and minimum ER/EM, Collei with Deepwood dps build, DTrav with Emblem dps build?

I've finally come to the conclusion that this game will never have any content that comes close to being challenging if you've got a team of Lv 90 characters in good gear.

I can clear the Abyss so quickly, it's frankly comical.

lv90 Tigh 8/4/8, lv80 Viridescent Hunt, bad Wanderer set.

Collei, Tigh, Diona, Fischl tears enemies apart in an instant. Tigh is pretty busted. I'll need dendro damage goblet or EM sands with good substats on Wanderer to improve him further...

Nilou smashed by a nerf / buff.

Her personal onfield damage was greatly reduced.
Her EM buff was increased and her bountiful bloom multiplier was increased.

I've been saying Kokomi is on par, but at this point, I'm sure Kokomi will outdps non-Bloom Nilou

We're getting to the point where they can't figure out new roles that are unique for characters, which means we're going to start getting same-element overlap, which means we will likely start to see actual power creep.

Sumeru is still thriving coz they're covering a new element.

Fontaine will likely run out of interesting things to give players unless they have a new feature planned

Honestly, Dendro seems like more of a buff to Electro than it is a useful element on its own. It doesn't seem to offer enough of a damage advantage over the traditional reactions.

Qiqi doesnt need an ult to heal and her skill doesnt self afflict with an element like most other healers. Jeans passive that has a chance to heal based on attacks, in my experience, was spotty to work, while Qiqis sigil pops super often and gives an immediate almost full heal to any attacking character, while her own healing is still atk based and lets you make a healer that can still dish out pain.

Plus at higher constellation, Qiqi can rez dead allies, which only Barbara can match iirc (though Barbara has the self afflict with hydro issue). Dunno if Kokomi can.

Bennet only heals to 70% which annoys the shit out of me and is reliant on an ult.

Jean relies on an ult to heal and her passive is spotty.

Kokomis a strong contender but also has self affliction with hydro. Need to get her in order to get a better feel for her.

Sayu has the same ult only healing, and I dont have a Kuki so I cant judge that aside from a berserker type self sacrifice healer seems like a weird niche.

Though like most stuff, it all boils down to what team comp you want since everyone fills a different roll. If you just want a strong healer that stands on their own and can drop powerful healing for a party whenever, Id gladly take a Qiqi.

Also worth noting, this is judged purely on healing ability. Bennets damage buff and Jeans res shred arent factors.

It's generally a rebalance for reactions.

1. Electro finally has amplification AND dendro itself can piggyback off of it. Leakers claimed we would see a change of meta from typical hypercarry teams to something new. I figure they mean quickswap nukers like Yelan and Tigh, or dual dps like Tigh + Cyno will become more frequent?

2. Bloom allows bad appliers to not be trash, see Thoma burgeon teams.

3. New teams like Dehya possibly utilizing burning, or Nilou flooding AoE nukes that also damage herself (--> healers desirable)

4. Pyro can now be harmful to some groups coz burn blocks reactions. Cryo cannot benefit dendro much. Anemo can't VV dendro and becomes more controllable coz dendro can't swirl. So the mightiest elements now have to be used more carefully.

On activation only. You really need to pay attention that cryo is not on Kokomi when she taps the skill.
