London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Bruges

Loved it all! Vondelpark in Amsterdam is a dream, the street waffles/chocolate in Brussels are delicious, and Bruges feels like walking through a fairy tale town.

Nope. I'll likely never be able to travel and see the world. I don't see the enjoyment or appeal of it tbh.

The appeal is to experience things you can't at home

Not sure what I'd want to experience that I couldn't experience at "home", not to mention the vast amount of financial stress that would come with simply buying plane tickets, let alone staying somewhere else long enough to enjoy it.

The cost is often high and prohibitive, sure. But if you can afford it, it's worth it. Anything you like at home, you can find a different version elsewhere. I personally love eating food I've never tried before, walking museums, sitting in parks, doing a haunted hike, etc.

The crux for me is that the world is a big place and it seems like a waste to not experience as much as I can. You never know when you'll fall in love with something unless you try it.

You raise a good point but I'm broke and won't ever be able to afford any of that, so it's not even worth thinking about. It'd be like speculating about how a trip to the moon would affect someone.

It sucks, but it is what it is. This is the world we live in. Terrible place, terrible people, terrible intersecting sociopolitical/financial systems and institutions. All rotten.

I live in Europe. So every day.

But I live in England and have been to all of the "4 countries" on the UK, along with Ireland proper separately. And then been to all but a few of the European mainland countries - the Scandinavian ones, but do want to visit them at some point. Along with Ukraine, Belarus, Bosnia and Serbia yet to visit and maybe a few others I'm forgetting.

A lot them were on camping holidays as a child we'd drive to so would be nice to see them again as an adult where I can properly appreciate them.

Been to Europe twice. But it was almost 20 years ago

In i think 2003, I went to the UK. Toured England, Scotland and Wales

In like 2006 or 2007 I went again, this time to mainland. Did Germany, France, Italy, and Czech Republic

I'd like to go back if I can. Would like to see the UK again. Would like to visit places like Iceland and Norway maybe
