Just make sure you have people to help when you get older if your diabetes gets out of hand. Hopefully they'll cure the shit soon. Or we'll get a government that actually gives a damn about healthcare for all.

And go earlier and ask how you can keep your home and quality of life too because they'll just shove you in a home. There's all kinds of options they don't tell us about depending on where you live.

i have a wife and kid, i own my house outright, i have good health insurance, and a very large life insurance policy

not to mention my diabetes is fully managed, that's not even the main thing killing me. it's an afterthought at this point
