I think it's natural that some people have favorite colors while some don't.

You ever think about how other people might see colors completely different than you do

We all have the same favorite color, my "green" is your "red"

I've started liking swampy greens lately.

depends if your artistic are not. I have been painting all my life and I don't have a preference to any color.

Yeah I used to think I liked red the most but I pretty much wore or used blue most of the time but as i got older I started to appreciate purple more.

Go figure.

My favorite color as a young kid was brown but then my dad told me his was orange and I guess I wanted to be like him and it became orange. Nowadays I guess it would be something like a turquoise.

Age 41-??? I seem to like dark amber gradient, verdigris, and gold now

I think your tastes "mature" and you tend to like more muted colors.

My favorite color is/was blue, but I would never paint my bedroom it like I did when I was a kid. If I were to repaint it now, it would probably be a light gray to match the dark walnut bedroom set I have.

Purple is a good color. I like royal purple in particular. I own a lilac shirt too.

Grow out of? Seems a odd way to phrase it as it just seems your preference has changed. Still I've always liked black and still do.

There was a short time I claimed brown was my favorite, but that was just kid me trying and failing to be logical since kid me liked all of the primary colors equally. As I developed more taste and legitimate reason, my color of choice became purple, but I quickly hit my all-black phase with it being high school through early college. So I never really gave purple much thought for a few years. When that oh-so-delightful phase of my life ended, I stuck to purple hard, and it has remained purple in the decades since.

Never had a favorite color, always said black because it was considered the sum of all colors.

i think as we age and mature, our brain naturally gravitates towards the upper edge of the visible spectrum and thus we like purple/violet. Basically if your favorite color isnt purple by the time youre 30 then youre not actually mentally an adult and probably never will be. Trust me. Science!

Blue (navy or dark blue) has always been my favorite color. That's been a constant ever since my grandma helped me to learn to read the name of colors with construction paper flashcards.
I never had a second favorite color, until it was orange. Don't know when or where that came from, but it showed up one day and was like "Hey, you like me too!"

I like greens the most, but I think the real issue is that colors are best enjoyed when playing off of each other. A favorite color is nice and all, but color combinations are just better, I think, and oddly as a result, most of my favorite artworks do not feature my favorite colors prominently very often. Like... the only art print I own is one of Van Gogh's Mulberry Tree, and while there is some green in it, the piece is largely yellow/orange and blue.

these days, orange. like wow orange is such a gorgeous color.

It's always been red, and still is. I don't think about it as much now as an old person, but still sometimes I'll see a car and go "that would look better in red."

I'm not good at favorites. It blows my 9 year old's mind when she asks me what my favorite *fill in the blank* is and I tell her I don't know and tell her a few of the things I like.

Don't know what my favorite movie, show, food, color, drink, etc is. Just know what I like.
