There was a short time I claimed brown was my favorite, but that was just kid me trying and failing to be logical since kid me liked all of the primary colors equally. As I developed more taste and legitimate reason, my color of choice became purple, but I quickly hit my all-black phase with it being high school through early college. So I never really gave purple much thought for a few years. When that oh-so-delightful phase of my life ended, I stuck to purple hard, and it has remained purple in the decades since.
