But the smoothness levels out at a certain point, where you'd just paying more for almost nothing. Basically, don't buy low tier vodka, because it's bad. But also don't buy high tier vodka, because it's not really worth it. Aim for the middle. When we used to drink vodka in college (and afterwards), we tended to steer clear of Smirnoff or anything worse, but were generally fine with Absolut.
