The more I look at the seeding, I'm not sure these are even upsets are this point. Maybe more people nominated anime films because they still live in the 90s and think anime isn't mega popular anymore (lol?). But I can't see Aladdin or Prince of Egypt being considered underdogs in any of their matches (except against Little Mermaid).

The Queen's Corgi is also a great movie.

The desire to validate your point is countered by Ratatouille really just being a fantastic film, bias or not.

Emperors New Groove is just such a fun movie.

I missed this day but I would probably have voted for Groove even though I think Spiderman was pretty easily the actual better movie.

It just be like that some time.

Meanwhile you've got Spirited Away today which is a great film, but literally the first thing that comes to mind every time I think of it is "overrated", at least by Ghibli standards, due to it blowing up in the West...but I mean I'm still voting for it over Toy Story 3 lol.

It's done OK in previous contests, but this is easily the furthest it's gone in a bracket. Before this year it never got past the round of 16.
