Meh I can see why. It seems like it lingered a bit on technicalities. The shooting looked cool though.

Delivery was a bit awkward, but that could have been alleviated with, you know, more takes.

Basically this its the whole fucking Boba Fett shit all over again where you have this character thats supposed to be badass but treated more as a joke

why dont they use guns in starwars? i know they arent probably gonna work on troopers or robots but they should have a pistol ready for the the op humans who are deflecting lasers with their swords like its no ones business

It's like they tried to make a new Boba Fett character with a badass with little screen time, but overlooked the fact that Boba Fett had little plot relevance to begin with, and he got over with fans because of that.

Whereas Phasma was made out to be a big deal, but jobbed out in nearly every scene

I wouldnt be surprised if there is some film terminology for doing something like this that isnt just calling the writers idiots.

Watching some Weird Movies with Mark he made an interesting point for Attack of the Clones as to how stupid it was for Jango to tale out the assassin with that poison darts rather then shooting Anakin or Obiwan with it since it was fast enough for them to bot detect.

im still not convinced. i still think a couple of dudes with assault rifles can kill a jedi easy unlike an army using slow ass laser guns that just get deflected. unless the fight scenes in the movies are supposed to be in slow motion because they are so fast.
