Iirc Durham has been called little Chicago cause on a ratio basis (murders vs population) its about the same.

I've heard certain parts of Raleigh are just as bad but it just doesn't get as much attention cause they don't wanna make the capitol look bad. But idk.

I've actually never witnessed a crime in Durham. Did see a cop with spinners on his cruiser though. Thought that was hilarious. Bet he got them off a car he impounded

Yea Durham gets top billing.

Raleigh is peaking.

Fayetteville, Goldsboro and Rocky Mount has always been shit holes.

The whole Kenly police force and staff quit.

Not in the least. I've lived in Raleigh for 25 years. Only heard a gunshot once. In Garner.

Raleigh like any city has its rough parts. I've avoided them though. Been in a fight in the middle of Glenwood Avenue though. But that was just me and a buddy who had been clubbing a little too hard getting into it after a night of drinking.

I don't recall Goldsboro being that bad. My grandma lived out in the rural area though

But yeah of course can't be as bad as all those combined when you include Raleigh too lol.
