This is probably the only real consideration (but two is probably enough), though even then port replicators aren't exactly hard to come by, so don't pay too much of a premium for extra outputs.

Okay, you are like the first person to do this in ages so I'll answer this question.
It's supposed to be Judgmental and not Judgment. You know, how it's phonetically said.
Also because I'm incredibly judgmental.
To answer your question (and why I said that you should take your comforts into consideration):
If I were doing anything PC related and was not gaming, I would just get a Raspberry Pi 4 8GB, but they are REALLY expensive these days. There's really no reason to get a PC these days, but that really assumes you know what you're doing with Linux and I can't assume you do. I also can't assume you need any Windows specific software so that's why I didn't give you a good answer.
Only you know your needs.
I used a 4GB one for an office PC for around a year. I still use it but not as a desktop.
