Some movies are unquestionably better when experienced in a theater imo. Dune especially. That shit was made for the big screen.

I enjoy the theater experience. Big recliner seats, huge screen, surround sound. And if it's a comedy, lots of people laughing makes it even more hilarious. It's also funny when one person laughs really loud at a scene that wasn't actually that funny.

I've gone to see movies in theaters 6 times so far this year and loved it all.

IMAX is the only one that is worth it

I tried watching it on a regular one and the screen look just as big as the one i have at home

my OLED also has better blacks

My partner and I love going to the movies. We have two near here, one is the fancy food and alcohol one that's small, which makes a great date night, the other is the generic giant movie screen which we used for stuff like Dune and The Batman and it was dope.

I mean some movies benefit from a theater watching. Like Belle as a movie is something you need to have seen in theaters or have theater quality surround sound because the music hits that much harder.

Top Gun Maverick also benefited from this with the sound of jets alone.

Because it's a way better movie experience than at home on a 1080p tv. Bigger and higher quality screen and surround system.

And it can be cheap if you know where to look or have a subscription service.

I go for the gigantic screens, stupendous sound system, and especially the crowd reactions. Spider-man NWH was one of my favorite experiences as well as Endgame.

there's a cinema with subs that can rattle your bones if the scene requires it, and doesn't really overprovide the bass needlessly.

Also get lazy boy type chairs, so it's a really good viewing experience.
