Honestly, does anyone have issues with Red's proposal to lynch me, Sheep, Death, and Sbell until one of us flips town (in which case we murder Plum)?

If Plum is Town, he just confirmed Tidus and BCT. If Plum is Scum, he can only fake scans for so long before he really has to come up with dumb reasons for justifying his "scans".

I mean, personally, I think this plan helps a lot since I know for a fact there has to be a liar among the claimed powers since the numbers just don't work out for everyone in Red's last group to be town (mainly because of me!).

I think it's worth noting that chang was, effectively, Cop. He could literally just ask someone if they're town and lie detect them for a guilty scan. If IGCD is a Flavor Cop of sorts, we would need to factor in that we already have a dead full-time scanner among town power.

I think I made it pretty clear I thought both were scum, but I wanted to try and make the vote more contentious just to bait anything out that I could. In the end nothing exciting happened and I didn't have to switch back to DYL last second or anything like I was expecting I might do. And if Plum is scum then it makes sense that no one would be baited. Kind of waiting on that to see if I need to change my opinion on Sheep.

Interesting thing about Red's lynch pool - Sheep has quite randomly out of the blue called out Death and Sbell at some point in the game, ISO'ing their posts and making some arguments for why they pinged his scumdar, but eventually had a much higher priority target in Plum on both days. Sheep regretted not bussing his teamamtes last game. So these could have been intentional callouts where he felt like he was forced to find something scummy about both Death and Sbell since no one else was really pushing them.

While it is effectively a lynch pool, i definitely suspect potential shenanigans somewhere. But it is a clear sorting of the games current bubbles.

Scumred was pretty involved with his team as far as I recall.
Pretty mellow and not much of a busser either.
Sneaking a peak at my old discord I cant see what Red used for a fakeclaim tho.

Nothing is about trying. It is about recognizing your own reads are worthless and that the information in front of you is obvious as fuck. Mafia is at the end of the day a logic game more than an emotional game and if you cant stop for one second and recognize this, well, you suck.

Part of it was being cooped up in the dark for a day second part was me just being hyped up at my read of the night working.

I think Lea's arguments for why Red is scum were very logical. At the same time I am town reading Red today big time. Why do I ever town read people? Well it comes down to me thinking you're not good enough to pull off the posts and attitude you'd be faking as scum. So it's a matter of weighing the logic against the town-read and the latter winning. So in the end it's Lea who respects your game the most!

To clarify Leas question further, and to take a jab because everyone knows in mafia I'm not capable of kindness (I'm actually a nice person outside the game i swear, being competitive makes me a jerk), i know with chris not in the game lea is off her leash and going to attack me endlessly. I needed town to see reason and if town spends all day trying to kill me that is not productive. So i get the claim out of the way early because if town is lynching me they aren't lynching scum.

This isn't fucking hard to understand. Unless you are lea frothing at the mouth.

The problem is that I don't know who is the lying power. It could be Plum, but if he's truthful, then his "scans" are worth keeping around or at least he'll die trying to scan someone.

If it's Red, then very likely IGCD is lying, too. Why would a scum Red try to confirm a scanning power instead of just outright killing them? But if their both lying, it's gonna look weird for IGCD to be spared another day.

... You know what? The simplest answer is that Plum is the liar. And that seems to open up the pool a lot more since if he's scum, Tidus and BCT are no longer cleared. But if he's town, we're kinda back to square one with Red's lynch pool.

Screw it, you're right. I think we got enough useful info out of Plum anyway. Tbh I completely forgot Tidus was in this game until he posted, so having his alignment be less ambiguous would be beneficial.

And uh... I forgot that Lie Detector was one-shot. More points in favor of IGCD, I guess. Again, I just don't think IGCD and Red are opposite alignments. They have to be the same alignment, and between them and Plum, I'd much rather lynch Plum.

Tbh, Death isn't a particularly strong lynch from me. There feels like something kinda off about his posts and analyses compared to previous games, but I might just be imagining it. Sbell just doesn't have a good town presence and feels like he's constantly distracting us from other, pressing topics.

But really my conclusion is that you and IGCD are either both town or both scum. Given the no kill, I'm willing to give you guys the benefit of the doubt. Plus, I think you've been making good arguments today, even if it's a complete 180 from your presence earlier in the game.

At this moment, I don't think you, Lea, or IGCD are scum.

I also kind of believe Reds displayed emotions here are more a result of him being frustrated that nobody is liking for his backup doc act.

I think the towniest thing Lea did was in the end of day 2 interactions with DYL. She was clearly stressed out because me and Sheep were trying to derail. Lea as scum would either fall in the camp of buss DYL or protect DYL. But she only posted when it looked like she had to - when I was jumping on the host meta coincidence and then later when Sheep was arguing for a counter lynch. She didnt post against DYL just to posture, but posted when busy because she felt like she had to. You could read the genuine worry town was going to screw something up there.
