DepreceV2 06/13/22 7:50:33 PM #1:	I havent had AC for about 2 weeks and it could be another 2 weeks before I get AC. The reasoning behind that is complicated and I dont want to type an essay about it. I also work overnights so I have to sleep during the day. My thermostat can reach as high as 90 degrees Fahrenheit even as late as 8 PM. When I get home from work in the morning, it isnt uncommon for the thermostat to be in the mid 80s. I keep windows open and I freeze a bunch of water and put it next to my fan while Im going to bed. It barely helps at all. I had no problem dealing with this for the short term but as the days roll on, it gets hotter and hotter. That means it becomes more and more unbearable. It's a small fan that when placed immediately in the vicinity of your person will have a cooling effect on you, not the room. Might be a decent emergency solution. My thought process was either the curtains was going to absorb the heat and make it hotter or keep the heat out. If your wallet is already on life support, hit a thrift store for bargain sheets or curtains you can toss into storage when summer's over. Plenty of ways to beat the heat without AC.
