Walked to grocery store tonight to get various things including stuff I forgot last time. They were everywhere on the walk over and back. I wanted to catch one to take a picture and let it go but the first one got away from me when I tripped in a ditch... and the 2nd one got stuck in some grass and I was sure it was trapped so in addition to wanting a pic, I was trying to free it... but it disappeared... and the 3rd one was flying toward the road and I was like "perfect, it will cross into the shadow of the street lamp and I'll see it and have it land on my hand" like I do with moths all the time so I can handle them without hurting them or messing with their wings. It didn't happen. That one disappeared too. I don't get it. I had a few drinks but I wasn't even close to wasted and my eyes are fine. Then again, when I was in the grocery store, I fucked up trying to find mac and cheese and when I did finally get to the right isle, I didn't see cracker barrel and I was DAMN CLOSE to taking a picture that I could post and tag Harpie in and bitch about it not being in stock but then I saw it and it was just behind a weirdly placed structural pylon thing... I should have seen it before, but fuck that was annoying. I almost settled for buying UNPROVEN mac and cheese from an UNFAMILIAR brand. I don't remember what it was but watch it end up being new and better in the end >_> oh well. It was a good trip but I would have liked to have been able to get and post pics with fireflies :(. I was lucky to find 1 caterpillar every 5 years or so after that. I think they are now Atlanta or Georgia Gladiators, but it was ECHL, there is a LOT of fighting, usually 3 to 5 per game. Cheap drinks and hot dogs, and quality hockey. I really wanted to make it work though. Armor looks really fucking bizarre and almost stupid but it's the best shit I can make (in hindsight, I'm so far over the armor cap that I could have gone for much weaker but more aesthetically pleasing armor without loosing anything at all... but a part of me was like "lol nah fuck that I want the best even if it looks dumb").
