Between the 2, a normal night for me would be 50-55% of a bottle depending on proof. 43% is on the higher side. I would speculate that depending on how much time I take off from drinking in the process, I would mostly likely finish that bottle in about 2 to 3 years give or take. Theoretically I can maybe pull out half a liter a night. That would be 622 days, but there's no way I could keep that pace. Lower-end number of breaks and 2 years sounds about right. More breaks (more likely), would put it more about 2.5 years. I knew he was here but his family was tellin me he's all fucked up on the booze and his wife is gonna leave him and all that shit. I personally don't like his wife anyway, she almost killed him once by stabbing him but whaaaaaaatever. His mom texted me earlier askin me if I was with him and right there I knew he'd show up. He shows up and i'm watchin liquor stories with Jim Lahey on Swearnet and drinking beer. So of course he's askin me if I got more booze and I said yeah but you can't have any. So he says I gotta take a piss, and I knew right away he was gonna go out to the fridge and try to get a beer.... Caught him in the act and said no or i'll call his mother. He get's all pissy about it and blames his wife for blowing the whole thing out of proportion and leaves.
