I also imagine his right eye is probably dry as hell too if he can't blink it, that can't be pleasant either. :(

I looked it up, it's one of the multiple kinds of virus that causes chickenpox and shingles.

Shingles can form a ring around your body anywhere along your head and spine. My dad had it around his abdomen so it was lucky. But still really painful nerve pains.

A family friend of ours is not so lucky, he had the ring around his head at eye level. The last time we contacted him, his wife answered and told us about what happened. And he never replied our texts and emails since. He was a close family friend and he moved away a few years ago. He always spoke to us on phone and kept in contact on WhatsApp.

We can only assume he's lost his sight.

Clean those ears less to help avoid ear infections yawl

No cures but will eventually go away on its own & there's therapy you can do to help prevent any permanent effects.

I doubt he was. Shingles vaccines are typically only given to people older than 50.

This particular form of shingles is really rare, because from what I can tell, it only occurs if the virus attacks a specific nerve inside the ear.

I always thought Biebster got a worse rep than he deserved. People think it's easy being a popstar at a young age because their shallowness gives them the understanding money is the only thing that matters. He's just a dude trying to find himself while being the center of attention everywhere he goes. That shit seems exhausting as fuck. Attention might as well be it's own disease when it gets to that degree.

Hope he recovers and gets back to normal. He doesn't deserve shit like this just because the douchey things he did as a teen or young 20 were taped and watched while ours weren't. Dude seems to be finding a normalcy in a life that would break 95% of people.

I dunno. Maybe Im projecting just cause how important my alone time has been to my own personal growth. But whatever, Im soft and will find a way to empathize when I can. I ain't mad at that. Id be mad if I was like VandorLee tho. Boom. Wrapped it around for another surprise slam.
