I looked it up, it's one of the multiple kinds of virus that causes chickenpox and shingles. Shingles can form a ring around your body anywhere along your head and spine. My dad had it around his abdomen so it was lucky. But still really painful nerve pains. A family friend of ours is not so lucky, he had the ring around his head at eye level. The last time we contacted him, his wife answered and told us about what happened. And he never replied our texts and emails since. He was a close family friend and he moved away a few years ago. He always spoke to us on phone and kept in contact on WhatsApp. We can only assume he's lost his sight. --- Rule #17: Don't be a Hero - Unnecessary risks are risks that shouldn't be taken. ...
