Im probably just having Marvel fatigue but that character shouldve been retired after Endgame with the other original heroes.

I get hes a dude that lives for thousands of years but I feel like his story has been told and its just being milked dry.

Yeah it looks fun and Thor Ragnarok is such a fun flick. This looks similar and I think Taika Watiti is back to direct again

I did like Ragnarok and I like Watiti so Ill give it a watch, probably wait for free to stream.

I know Im being a pessimist, but I just get tired of seeing the same actors all the time. Feel kind of similarly towards Pratt.

I liked it, but I felt the fact that it was a Marvel movie kind of undermined it.

I feel like the Eternals, at least how they were presented in the film, wouldve worked better as a standalone thing.

It feels like a character who had a character arc, but now they're basically undoing the whole thing over again because they don't really know what to do with him, and Taika mostly just wants to make jokey movies so he doesn't really give a crap about overarching storytelling.

There's a pretty strong chance this isn't true unless the word of mouth after it comes out is that it's really good.

Most of the post-Endgame Marvel movies have been underperforming a bit. Spider-Man did crazy well, and Doctor Strange did pretty good, but the rest has been fairly meh (by blockbuster/MCU standards). The Thor movies have never broken a billion, and this probably isn't the one where they start. Especially if word of mouth is weak or bad.

The CGI helmets kinda bug me

Thor Ragnarok was one of the most entertaining and fun films I have ever seen out of the MCU. It was a breath of fresh air after the super dark and dour Thor The Dark World. So yeah I am eager to see this movie and I think many others are in the same boat.

Sure if you have super hero fatigue in general that can be a problem, but I'm not there yet. MCU is also doing quite a bit to keep things fresh, watching something like Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness doesn't feel like nearly any other super hero film before. They are actually starting to get more innovative instead of the typical plot these films all have.

It looks like it's going to suck, but I'll probably wind up watching it eventually.

Nothing post-EG has excited me because EG got rid of the characters who should've been kept and kept a lot of the ones who should've went.

Whatever the GotG are up to will lead to their last movie

then it's Black Panther 2, Dr Strange 3 and pretty much whatever since nothing is connecting the films and/or TV shows together

maybe Marvel want to appeal to the female audience since most of the major characters have been or will be replaced

I'd pay to see Thor break through Loki's bullshit exterior and give in to him being sweet to him.

Thor: "I love you Loki"
Loki: "Okay, okay, fuck, I love you too "

That would be so nice. I would cry.

Loki needs to accept that he isn't his genetics. He's Thor's brother and Odin's son. That was never really resolved in a hard way. And it's the kind of moral lesson a lot of hateful people need to hear.

Family isn't made from blood. It is made from history. Like when Daryl and Rick were fighting in the woods and they stopped and Daryl said, "I'd die for you." Earlier Rick told him he was his brother. That shit hit harder than any blood relation could have.

Hell, many folks when they get older exile shitty family members anyway.
