I spent like a month really ill, started with what I thought was just a sudden viral illness that hit me while I was driving to work one day, puked in my car. Lasted about a week. Then I got some sort of bacteria infection in my gut where I couldn't eat anything except yogurt, toast, and other bland foods or risk intense stomach cramps. Then when the Omnicron variant happened, it was once every 3 days. Now it's back to once a week. It only takes 2 minute of my time while I'm at work and it's a peace of mind knowing I'm testing negative, so there's that. --- Gamefreak used CUT! There was a period where I was going for a PCR weekly because there was an outbreak (relative to the near-zero figures my province was able to maintain until the new government decided Omicron was too hard and gave up completely, resulting in some of the worst per capita numbers in the country) and I wanted to stay on top of it, and outside of that I've gone for a test any time I've been at an identified exposure site, had symptoms of any sort, or did anything at all high risk. It's been a while since my last PCR test, since the province responded to Omicron by restricting PCR tests to high-risk people (meaning our numbers are hideous underestimates of the real case counts), but I've kept up with rapids. --- This is my signature. Then my sister got it, that was when the vaccine was first coming out and only for old people and whatever other special cases, had to test then too. Then at one point for a few months I had to test weekly, so easily 9+.
